H-dip in Youth Justice in Ireland
Currently in first year of a two year Master’s degree in Adolescent psychotherapy
Qualified Psychotherapist working in accordance with the code of ethics and practice from the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (IACP)
She has worked alongside clients dealing with depression, anxiety, isolation, grief and loss, domestic violence, sexual abuse survivors , self harm , eating disorders, trauma, school refusal, sexuality, addiction, homelessness and suicidal ideation.
She establishes and creates safety so that the client feels comfortable and secure on their journey.
Following the clients lead, she sits with them allowing as much time is needed to settle into the therapeutic process.
She is able to hold and contain the trauma and pain which the client is holding.
She works from gestalt and humanistic approach, which supports the client to feel heard, safe, encouraged and not judged.
