Higher Technical University Degree in Preschool Education and an Honours Bachelor Degree in Psychology.
She is a member of the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI).
Camoa believes that one of the most rewarding aspects of working as a psychologist is to see, accompany and support the person throughout his/her changing process and to accept himself/herself as the wonderful and valuable being they really are, with strengths and weaknesses, as we all have. She thinks that as human beings we have the ability to change, transform ourselves and grow and each of us keeps within the potential to become whatever we want to become in life.
In a non judgmental atmosphere, she walks with the patients in the wonderful path of self-discovery, acceptance and reflection inviting them to realize the great things that they have within. She believes that all have the tools to overcome the situations that happen in our life, sometimes we just need someone to enlighten the path to really see all the possibilities that surround us and we have access to.
She also holds a Children and Teenagers’s Human Rights Diploma and is currently finishing a Certificate in the Therapeutic Use of Mindfulness and attending the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Diploma accredited by the Psychological Society of Ireland in Dublin.
