Approach
Siobhan’s priority is in meeting her clients where they are at with compassion and warmth. She strives to create an accepting space and encourages people to explore things they might not ordinarily explore, without judgement. She is passionate about helping clients increase awareness around some of the underlying patterns that might be influencing their behaviours, thoughts, and emotions. The relationship between the therapist and client is foundational for healing and growth so she is continually led by the client, supporting them in meeting the goals they set in therapy. She uses an integrative approach in her work with clients, leaning on various theories and techniques including humanistic, psychodynamic, body-centred and mindful approaches to therapy.
Over the past few years, Siobhan has supported clients with the following challenges:
Anxiety
Depression
Stress, burnout and motivation
Low self-esteem, low confidence and body issues
Relationship and family difficulties
Identity and sexuality
Suicide and self-harm
Compulsive behaviours
Spiritual crises
