Profile
Nicola is an experienced qualified and accredited counsellor/psychotherapist. She holds a BA (Hons) Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy and works in accordance with the code of ethics and practice from the Irish Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (IACP). She has been working with clients on a one-to-one basis since 2007 and has gained experience working with clients dealing with various issues such as depression, bereavement, anxiety and stress, panic attacks, OCD, and suicidal ideation, as well as a range of other issues or concerns.
Nicola works from a humanistic/integrative perspective as she understands each client is unique, and not every individual may benefit from the same treatment approach. She works collaboratively with clients to understand the particular circumstances or issues that are problematic for them and draws on their strengths and resources in order to enhance the quality of their lives. Nicola is committed to continued professional development and has attended several courses and workshops since obtaining her degree in 2009.
