Profile
Margaret’s background is in clinical social work and counselling with individuals, children and families in Ireland, the UK and the USA. Margaret is also a mediator and a psychological astrologer.
With a special interest in relationships, attachment and intimacy, Margaret integrates a Humanistic and Person centered approach with Psychodynamic, Systems and Emotionally Focused Therapy.
Margaret has been an advocate for diversity issues for many years and set up the first ‘coming out’ group for women in Dublin in the late 80’s.
Margaret is a strong believer in self-compassion and the possibilities that open up with self-understanding. She is particularly passionate about working with couples and supporting them in working through the challenges faced in loving another human being.
