Profile

Lucie is a qualified humanistic integrative psychotherapist who previously worked in Psychology as a lecturer and researcher.  She specialised in developmental psychology and research on the psychology of school bullying and cyberbullying.  Lucie’s work in general psychology and in the field of bullying contributed to her decision to train as a Psychotherapist, as this allows her to work more closely and directly with individuals dealing with psychological and emotional challenges.  Lucie’s lecturing work has focused on developmental psychology (which examines physical, cognitive, and emotional change from birth to death) and research methods, which has been helpful in both viewing change/transition in the context of the client’s life stage, and in considering the complexities of psychological diagnoses, treatments, and interventions.
