Profile

I hold an MA in Counselling and Psychotherapy, trained in humanistic and psychodynamic approaches within an integrative framework. I  am a fully accredited member the Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy (IAHIP) and am guided by their professional ethics.

About My Approach

Sometimes people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, emotionally stuck, or struggling to make sense of what they are feeling. I offer a warm and supportive space where you can speak openly and explore whatever you are experiencing. Together we can work with curiosity and care to understand difficult feelings, patterns, and relationships in a safe and confidential environment.

I see therapy as a collaborative process. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, struggling in relationships, navigating change, or simply wanting to understand yourself more deeply, our work together can help bring clarity, new perspectives, and possibilities for change.

If you feel this approach might be helpful for you, you are welcome to get in touch to start a conversation.

Approaches

My work is informed by person-centred, psychodynamic, and integrative psychotherapy. I place particular emphasis on the therapeutic relationship and on each person’s capacity for insight, growth, and meaningful change.

Areas I Often Work With

Relationship Issues – Providing a space to explore present relationship experiences alongside the deeper roots of emotional life. Our work can help bring understanding to how early relationships shape present wellbeing and the ways we relate to ourselves and others.

Anxiety, Depression, Stress, & Emotional Regulation – Supporting clients in understanding and responding to overwhelming feelings with greater awareness, while also offering practical tools that can help regulate the nervous system and ease emotional overwhelm.

Self-esteem & Identity – Exploring questions of self-worth, belonging, and authenticity, including experiences related to gender, sexuality, and body image.

Neurodivergence – Providing an affirming space for people exploring ADHD, autism, and other forms of neurodivergence, particularly those who have come to understand their neurodivergence later in life. I have a special interest in this area and my work is informed by the current understanding of neurodivergent experience.

Trauma – Working with the impact of past experiences in a safe, supportive, and carefully paced way, guided by a trauma-informed approach that prioritises emotional safety and stability.

Life Transitions & Personal Growth – Supporting clients through periods of change, uncertainty, loss, or personal transformation.
