Profile
Gráinne Hand is an Accredited Psychotherapist since 2013. Following her training at Maynooth University and Dundalk Therapeutic Centre, she has continued to work with a wide range of life issues including depression, anxiety, addiction, relationship, work related stress and more. Gráinne appreciates the impact that negative thinking can have on our behaviour and feelings and often integrates the skills of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy with the Person-Centered approach.
Grainne has a keen interest in pursuing further research and in recent times has undertaken a study on how work life balance has been affected during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Gráinne has over 15 years experience in supporting American Undergraduate Students and has a deep understanding of some of the cultural adjustment challenges encountered.
Grainne appreciates the uniqueness of each person presenting for counselling and adapts a style to suit those individual needs.
